Exclusion flap EF3 – animal-friendly bat exclusion | Unitura

The EF3 exclusion flap is a one-way device made from recycled plastic for making buildings bat-free before demolition or renovation. Bats can pass through the flap to the outside, but cannot re-enter the building. The flap is rotatable and can therefore be used across expansion joints or along roof edges.

Tip: Ensure that bats have sufficient grip around the entrance to the flap so that they can climb into it.

Installation

Place the flap directly across an expansion joint or, after rotating it, against a roof cornice or another opening parallel to the facade. Secure it with mounting kit or small nails. Please note: exclusion flaps may only be installed if the necessary permits have been obtained, or when working under an appropriate and approved code of conduct, regulation, or species management plan.
