Description
The VMPM4 is a wood-concrete entrance stone that gives building-dwelling bats access to the cavity or to a built-in box behind the masonry. You lay it in like a regular brick, flush with the facade or slightly recessed. It works as a standalone provision or in combination with a VMPM basic box.

Tip: place entrance stones as high as possible, at least 3 metres, along roof edges and corners, and leave the space underneath clear.
Combining
Each item in this series is a separate product. The VMPM4 (105 mm) is the entrance stone for the basic boxes without their own stone: VMPM1, VMPM2 and VMPM3. If you prefer a box with an entrance stone included, choose VMPM1e, VMPM2e and VMPM3e. There are two other depths: VMPM4a (50 mm) and VMPM4b (30 mm). If the cavity is insulated, cover the insulation material with GG2 anti-predator mesh so that bats do not damage it or become entangled in it.
Placement
The entrance stone can be placed in the masonry in two ways: flush with the masonry, or slightly recessed and finished with brick slips. Distribute entrance stones across as many orientations and locations as possible.
