Bat House VMPM3e – 3-tier recessed with roosting stone | Unitura

The VMPM3e is the 3-layer wood-concrete bat box for installation behind masonry, including an entrance stone. It is placed behind the masonry, with only the entrance stone visible on the facade. This provides building-dwelling bats with a permanent roosting site with plenty of space.

Tip: place the box as high as possible, at least 3 metres, preferably along a roof edge or cornice.

Combining

Each item in this series is a separate product. The VMPM3e already includes the entrance stone. For more roosting space, add an extension: VMPM3u (3-layer) next to or above the box. On site, remove the break-out walls on the connecting side with a hammer and chisel and place the boxes with the openings facing each other. Without a built-in entrance stone, choose the VMPM3 base box with a separate VMPM4 (105 mm), VMPM4a (50 mm) or VMPM4b (30 mm) entrance stone.

Placement

Base boxes with entrance stones are intended for installation behind masonry. Distribute the boxes across as many orientations and locations as possible, keep the area below the box clear and place them along roof edges and cornices.
